Grant Programs
FCRG administers several grant programs to support conservation research, habitat restoration, and community education initiatives. We invest in projects that generate actionable data, restore critical habitats, and build public support for aquatic conservation.
Research Grants
Up to $50,000 for studies advancing our understanding of fish populations, aquatic ecosystems, and conservation methods. Open to academic researchers, independent scientists, and tribal biologists.
Habitat Restoration Grants
Funding for on-the-ground projects that restore fish habitat, remove passage barriers, or improve water quality. Priority given to projects with community involvement and matching funds.
Community Education Grants
Support for schools, nonprofits, and community groups developing aquatic education programs. Funds can cover materials, field trips, guest speakers, and curriculum development.
Student Fellowship Program
Annual fellowships for graduate students conducting thesis research related to fisheries science, aquatic ecology, or conservation biology. Includes stipend, field expenses, and mentorship.
